I hrave a wide variety of interests and hobbies. I rarely just sit, even when relaxing, I am usually busy with my hands. I weave rugs, crochet, embroider, sew, paint etc. I am a mixed media artist and very much enjoy exploring new ways to reuse, recycle and repurpose items in my art. I have two Master of Arts degrees in Education. I have a grown daughter and an infant grandson who live in Florida. I like to hang out with my best friend, whom I live with, do art and have a glass of wine. I am a very compassionate person. I am open to new things. I have a soft heart and I revel in appreciating the beauty of the world around me. I love old rock and roll, the blues...and almost every kind of music. And I love to laugh!
I tried to just "date" and play around ,but I keep finding myself looking at the men I have gone out with and thinking... Is this someone I can have a lasting relationship with?
So, I have accepted the fact within myself that what I truly want is to find the last love of my life. I want to be with someone who gets me, and whom I get. I would like to have things in common and be able to spend enjoyable time together doing things we both like. I am a woman that likes to cook for my guy, take pride in keeping a clean home and takes care of my man. I was raised on a ranch with fairly old fashioned ideals in some areas.
One of the main things that was missing in previous relationships was a healthy and active s*x life. I would very much like to be with someone who feels that this component of a relationship is as important as I do. However, It is not the only thing I am wanting, and it is not the first thing I want to discuss when I begin talking to a man.
