I am 50 years old and had pretty much given up on meeting anyone until I found this site and others like it. Still a tad apprehensive, although putting myself 'out there' to see what comes of it.
I enjoy music, many styles but prefer folky rock, rock and latin/world to pop. I also sing and would love a partner who plays an instrument, although that is not a deal breaker.
I have a small marketing business and I work a lot, probably because it is the most fulfilling part of my life at the moment. I know that if I had a reason to divert some of my attention it would be easy to do.
I love to travel and do so as often as I can, usually somewhere warm to escape the cold Canadian winter and then a trip or two for business or to meet up with friends throughout the year, usually these are within Canada.
I'm a communicator and believe that everything can be dealt with if partners communicate. I also believe in taking responsibility for what happens to me and the way I react to life. I choose to surround myself with positive people who have a tendency to be more into creating solutions to problems rather than whining or complaining about the way things are. Yes, for me, the glass is most definitely half full.
I have a grown daughter who pretty much takes care of herself and would prefer to not be encumbered with small children at this stage of my life.
