My name's Jeff, and I am an author with four published and another coming. I'm originally from WVa, but I left to go to college in Ohio and never really found my way back. I was a teacher (various types of history, political science and English Comp.) I was also a newspaper journalist for about ten years, including going as a correspondent to cover a nasty war going on in Peru. I've been divorced about a year after 26 in the can. It did not end because I was cheating or drinking up the rent. You just don't do that. And neither have I ever raised my hand to a woman, a child or a dog. Yeah, I'm 53, but that means I have more experience, more common sense and solid maintenance of character. Intelligence attracts me the most, and it would be nice after all of this time, I could have a meaningful conversation with a warm-hearted, empathic woman (as are most). Aside from bass fishing and writing, my favorite activity is to cuddle up with a sweet, mature lady and watch a movie from back when they made good one. Some say I'm funny and quick with a one-liner; others say I am intelligent. I don't know either way. But you could be the judge of that.
