In a nutshell, I'm a great gal looking for a great guy. I'm thankful for all of my life experiences. I've learned a lot from the bad ones and still smile when remembering the good ones. I am at a point in life where I feel happy and settled. I have just a few years left before my kids will be on their own and already see them needing "mom" less and less involved in their lives.

I love a good SciFi flick and other geeky things like that. I am a self-professed life-long learner and tend to be an "out-of-the-box" thinker. I also enjoy outdoor events such as camping and road trips. I like keeping it "real" but am also careful to balance that with respect and sensitivity to others. I believe we each have a lot of choices in how we live our lives. I try to start each day with gratitude for the positive things already in my life.

I value people who have their own internal self confidence and practice self-restraint in their actions. I like guys who enjoy spending time with their special gal outside of the bedroom. I think there needs to be some common ground to make an initial connection but I also enjoy the elements of diversity that can present opportunities for new experiences.
